If you have more than one warehouse, you can set up so-called inventory allocation distribution zones for each of your warehouses. This maximizes and makes your distribution coverage more efficient since fulfillment is based on shipping location.
Once you've set up a warehouse, you need to set backups for it so that Skubana will know which of your other warehouses to pass an order to in case the warehouse runs out stock. The same holds true for warehouses that you use for international fulfillment.
If a warehouse is used as a distribution point for inventory replenishment of other warehouses, you can instruct Skubana to calculate its sales velocity and minimum inventory levels by combining the sales velocities of all dependent warehouses. This is particularly useful if you sell on FBA and use this warehouse as the delivery point when ordering from your vendors and then forwarding necessary quantities of products to FBA distribution centers.
