[FAQ] I accidentally linked the wrong listing SKU to a product. How do I correct this?

If you linked the wrong listing SKU to a product, you can correct the error by opening the master SKU record, clicking the Listing SKUs tab, highlighting the erroneous listing SKU, clicking Edit, then entering the correct SKU.

You can also deactivate the listing SKU by clicking Deactivate, instead of Edit. However, you can't link the deactivated listing SKU to another product, unless you rename it. Putting a suffix like .error to the listing SKU will solve this issue, allowing you to link the same listing SKU to another product, if you want.
