Searching for Products

Print Friendly and PDF

The Products module's search function offers two ways to search for products in Skubana.

  • The first one uses the traditional search function, which involves narrowing down your search by entering as much information on the Search fields as possible.
    1. On the toolbar, click Products.
    2. On the Products page, the Search panel can be seen on the left. Click the Search icon on the top right of the Search panel to display the fields (effectively, your search criteria) you can use to narrow down your search. You can search by product name, master SKU, listing SKU, vendor SKU, UPC, brand, categories, and labels.
    3. Enter your search criteria, then click Search.

The results of your search are displayed on the Products page's right panel.

In the example below, only the master SKU is filled up.

  • The second way involves searching for specific products using their categories and labels.
    1. On the toolbar, click Products.
    2. On the Products page, click either Categories or Labels, then choose a category or label. You may select multiple categories or labels by pressing the Ctrl key and selecting a category or label at the same time.

The results of your search are displayed on the Products page's right panel.

In the example below, the accessories/shoes, jewelry and necklace categories are all selected.
