Why isn't Skubana updating the sales channels when my available stock count is "0"?

Skubana will update the stock count for a sales channel when there is a change in the stock level, e.g. after the sale of a product. However, when the available stock count for a product is "0", Skubana does not update the sales channel to prevent the possibility of overselling the product.
